A Director, screenwriter and musician, born in 1919. He obtained a diploma in building decoration in 1939. He began his artistic life by writing songs and literary articles in some newspapers since 1942. He joined Studio Egypt in 1946, where he worked as an assistant director with Salah Abu Seif. He directed a number of documentaries, the first of which was New Dawn in 1965. He died in 2008.
