Afterwards, play director Galal El Sharkawy suggested that he enroll in the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. He was hired by director Fahmy El Khouli to play a minor role in the play The Hostages, which subsequently paved the way for a number of supporting roles in tens of television dramas, including: The Sisters’ Brother, The Night Fatima Was Arrested, The Journey of Mr. Abu El Aila El Bashary and The White Flag. He also appeared in a number of films, including Appeal From Another World, Why Does the Sea Laugh?, and Bousbous.
