He is an Egyptian director, author and writer. He presented nearly 150 films, whether directing, writing or producing. He began his career as an assistant director in the films Divorce of Soad Hanim (1947) and Sacrificed My Love (1951). He is considered the most famous director who adapted radio series into films, including Samara and Touha.
