An Egyptian actor, born on June 3, 1946 in Beheira. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts. His early films include El Karnak (1975), and Alexandria... Why? (1978). After that, he continued to work on notable films, such as Hunger (1986), The Escape (1991), and The Blood of the Innocent (2005). Among his most notable television series are Honey and Tears (1985), My Aunt Safiyya and the Monastery (1995) and The Brotherhood (2010).
