The distinguished artist Abdul Wahab Al-Daini is considered one of the most famous writers in Iraq. He worked in theatrical directing. He was active and influential in the late 60s and early 70s. He's known for Karada Mariam, Al-Batawiyin and The Excavator. In addition to his many scripts for television and cinema in the 70s and 80s. he was also an actor in television and cinema like in the film Bride of the Euphrates.
