Togo Mizrahy was an Egyptian director, producer, screenwriter and editor. He was born in Alexandria, and moved to Rome to get a PhD in commerce. In 1929 he founded the Egyptian Film Company in Alexandria, but then decided to become based in Cairo, where he made 19 feature films. In 1948 he returned to Italy and lived there until his death in 1986.
