A Lebanese director, producer, writer and actor, born in 1937 in the city of Tyre. He studied cinema and directing in Cairo. He began his career in 1952 as an assistant director, with films such as Bitter Honey (1964), until he directed his first film The Two Drifters in 1965. He participated in many works inside and outside Lebanon most notable of which are The Radar (1988), and The Missing Wife (1992). He's one of the pioneers of Arabic voice over of animation in the Arab world like Grendizer, Hello! Sandybell, and Nobody's Boy Remi.
