An Egyptian boxer who graduated from the Higher Institute of Physical Education in 1963. After graduation, he joined the Military College. He won the Egyptian Heavyweight Championship from 1960 to 1965 and the African champion in 1962 in Cairo. He became the coach of the Egyptian national team from 1986 to 1993 and the coach of the armed forces team until 2003. He received the Sports Medal from President Gamal Abdel Nasser. He participated as an actor in several Egyptian films, including A Man in the Dark.
