He is a Syrian writer, director and actor, born in Aleppo, Syria in 1940. He holds a degree in law and another in Arabic literature. He worked in theatre, television and cinema, and won many awards and gold medals. Haddad was president of the Arab Youth Club for ten years, head of the Artists Syndicate branch in Aleppo three terms, and director of the National Theatre. Haddad is best known for hies roles in the series Birds of Prey (1995) and Houses Have Secrets (2002).
