Soheir Ramzy is an Egyptian actress, born in Port Said. She first appeared in the cinema when she was six years old in the movie Foreign History. She first worked as an air hostess and a fashion model, then turned to acting in the late sixties of the twentieth century. In the seventies, she was considered one of the most important symbols of seduction in Egyptian cinema. Ramzy is best known for her roles in Miramar, Who Can Beat Aziza, and A Girl Named Mahmoud. She retired from acting and wore the hijab in 1993, but returned several years later, but this time with wearing a veil through the TV series Soulmate.
"Sohair Mohamed Abdel salam", daughter of the latest actress "Doria Ahmed" was born on the 3rd of March 1949 in Port Said. As a child she participated in film "Sahifat Sawabek"(1956). She worked as air hostess then a model. She achieved a great success through series "Zeinab Wa El Arsh"- "Zeinab and the Throne". On stage she starred many plays like "Awlad Raya We Sakina"- "Raya and Sakina's children" in addition to "Al Nahla We Aldabour"- "The Bee and wasp". She was married couple of times to Almir khaled, actor Mahmoud Kabil, actor Farouk El Feshawy and then to a businessman. She quit acting in 1992 and returned back in 2003 through religious role. She presented many temptation movies including: "Thoma Tashrok Alshams"- "Then sunlight shines", "Tharthara Fawk Al Nil"-" Gossip over the Nil" and "Al Mozneboun"-"The Guilty". She proved herself with "Emraa Mn Zogag"- "Woman from Glass".
