An Egyptian actress who is the daughter of director Galal E Sharkawy. She graduated from the American University in Cairo, Theater Department. She starred in the play The Terrorist Attia, and then worked in several series such as Umar Ibn Abd Al-Aziz and Harun al-Rashid. She retired after her marriage and then returned to acting again after being persuaded by her father. She is best known for her roles in the series Not One Thousand and One Nights (2010), and the movie Best Laid Plans! (1997).
