Italian journalist and writer, born on April 14, 1919 in Cremona, Lombardy, Italy. He worked as a war correspondent during World War II. He became director of Reporter, a Yemeni weekly magazine published between 1959 and 1960 where he worked as art criticism. In the 1960s, he became editor-in-chief of a newspaper Corriere della Sera. He wrote number of works, including: L'ombre du pharaon (1996), and he died in 2005, in Italy.
