An Egyptian novelist who was born on September 30, 1913. He obtained the Medal of Science and Arts of the first class. Among his most famous literary works is the novel Barefoot on Thorns, which was turned into a movie called Afraid of Something. He wrote The Tight Dress, which was published by the House of Knowledge and the story of the movie The Mud, starring Nour Sharif. He died on November 30, 1986.
