An Egyptian director who was born in 1932. He received a BA in Business Administration and Accounting in 1955. In 1965, he obtained an MA in Film Direction from the University of California in Los Angeles. He worked as a professor at the Higher Institute of Art Criticism and a professor at the Higher Institute of Cinema. He is known for The Other Man and One Smile Is Enough.
