An Egyptian director who was born in 1919. He received a postgraduate diploma in film and script directing in 1939 from the Paris Film University. He started by working as an assistant director with a number of directors. He had his debut as a director in the movie, The Ring of Solomon. Afterwards, he directed Don't Overreach (1949) based on the story and dialogue of Abu Al-Saud Al-Ebiari. He wrote the script of the movie Your Mother-in-Law Loves You.
