Egyptian director, writer, and set designer, who was the chief set designer for Egyptian TV. He designed the sets and costumes for many cinematic and theatrical works. He founded the Black and White Ensemble for Independent Theatre. He is known for being one of the pioneers of the ‎Atelier El Masrah Group at the Faculty of Fine Arts and directed many theatrical works, including The Merchant of Venice. His credits include Were It a Dream (2001). He also wrote and directed the play So What?! (2016).
