She is an Egyptian actress of Turkish origin. She started acting in 1917 in the theater, including the classical-speaking plays Mad About Layla and Cleopatra. She worked in the Ramses Theatre, Al-Rihani Theatre, and the Abdel Rahman Rushdi Troupe. She''s known for playing the roles of the loving mother. Her film roles include Aziza, Port Said and The Girls and Summer.
