An Iraqi director and actor, born in 1940 in Baghdad. He studied in the acting department at the Institute of Fine Arts and graduated from it in 1965-1966. He participated throughout his studies in many theatrical productions of the Institute, including Macbeth, and The Iron Guitar. He also directed two plays: The Truth Is Dead, written by Emmanuel Robles, and Escurial, written by Michel de Ghelderode. In 1965, he co-founded the Modern Art Theater Troupe. He acted in two films; The Path of Love (1966), and I See Good (1969). He began working in the General Organization for Radio and Television in the mid-sixties and acted in many radio and television dramas. He also practiced radio directing for several years. He died on October 9, 1976.
