Laila Fawzy was an Egyptian actress. She was born in 1918 to a Syrian father and a Turkish mother. Her debut role was in the 1941 film Wife Factory. She then went on to star in numerous roles between film and television, until the beginning of the 21st century, the she retired a few years before her death. Among her most notable roles were those in The Victorious Salah Eldin, Hell's Ambassador and The Ladies of Garden City.
