An Egyptian actress, born on December 5, 1909. She made her film debut in the thirties. She was discovered by German director Fritz Kramp, who nominated her for the leading role in the movie Lasheen in 1938, in which she achieved great success. She turned down all the films that she was offered after the success of her first film, Lasheen, and retired from acting for unknown reasons.
