An Egyptian theater director and actor, who started his career in the mid-seventies. He worked on many series and films, and excelled in his roles in religious television series. As for cinema, he often played the role of a police officer. His plays include Salome's Last Dance. He also appeared in the series Muhammad the Messenger of God, and Justice Has Many Faces, and the films The Age of Hatem Zahran, and Women Behind Bars (1986).
