An Iraqi film and radio director and actor, who presented many works of art. In the early fifties, the late artist was engrossed in theatrical work and established with some artists a theatrical company, where they presented plays by Brecht, but soon he turned to cinema while he was not more than 20 years old. In 1957 he produced, wrote and directed his first film Life Has Disciplined Him.
