An Egyptian singer and actor, born in Alexandria in 1960. He began his artistic life at the age of twelve, by working in Ramadan parties in Alexandria. Abdel Halim Hafez saw him singing in a wedding and decided to support him artistically, and indeed he sang at many parties, especially at the Palace of Culture in Alexandria. He is famous for his songs: "God Wants", and "Curtains". He broke into the acting field in 1975, and he participated in the movie The Love Ends, and then the series The Fog (1977). He died as a result of a heroin overdose on August 20, 1995.
