An Egyptian actor, who was born in Cairo on October 1, 1940. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema. He worked as a broadcaster for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) before deciding to return to Egypt and work as an actor. Among his most important films: Cairo 30 (1966), His Excellency the Minister (2002), The Fish's Tale (2003), and he also participated in many television series, such as: On the Margins of the Biography (1978), The Will (1990), and The Family (1994).
