An Iraqi singer, born in Syria. She later moved to Baghdad, Iraq, then moved to Cairo in 1938, where she worked with the band of Badiaa Masabny. She appeared in the film A Happy Day, with Mohamed Abdel Wahab. She also performed many songs, such as "Ya Aqid Al Hajebain" and "Misafirin".
