Moroccan actress, director and producer, born June 23, 1963 in Lille, France, to a French mother and a Moroccan father, her husband is Algerian director Ahmed Bouchaala. She made her acting debut on Fort Saganne (1984) and starred in A Door to the Sky (1987) by Farida Benlyazid. She also starred in many of Mohamed Abderrahman Tazi's films such as Badis (1989) and In Search of My Wife's Husband (1995). Since 2001, she has shifted to writing and directing, collaborating with her husband on the film Number One (2009). She also directed TV series such as The Queen's Maids (2016) and Mother's Blessing (2017).
