Writer and blogger Ahmed Samir graduated from the Faculty of Law and has held several jobs outside and inside Egypt. His love for writing had a great impact on writing several works, including his novel 114 Matches, which was adapted into a cinematic drama through the movie 114 Matches. He worked as a financial manager and a script editor for October Art Production Company, then as a financial manager for Rozada Company for Artistic Production. He co-wrote the films The Battle of Captain Nadia (1990), The Clevers (1987), and We're Not Heading Into Trouble (2017).
