An Egyptian actor, born in Sherbeen, Dakahlia Governorate, on December 15, 1930. He obtained a diploma in acting in 1952. His real breakthrough began with in the movie A Date with the Devil (1955). Among his movies: Al-Karnak, and We're the Bus People. Among his televison series: The Bird of Fire, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God. In the theater, most of his works were from Naguib Mahfouz's novels, including: Between Two Palaces, aand Miramar.
