She...Read more hosted several programs including "TV Magazine" and "The Earth Speaks Arabic". She worked at the UAE national television from 1970-1974 then returned to Egypt. She married Akhbar El Youm journalist Nabil Esmat in 1972. She was head TV host in 1979 then Deputy Minister of Media. After she wore the hijab in 1992, she shifted from TV to radio. In 1999, she received the Medal of Sciences and Arts. She appeared as herself in several films including Agony Is a Woman, and My Friend the Gentleman. She died on 26 August 2020.
