An Egyptian singer, who was born in September 1916 in Kafr Abu Gendy, near the city of Tanta in Gharbia Governorate. She came to Cairo and worked with Fathia Mahmoud in her theater and then in the New Arizona theater. She participated in the films Nights of Love (1955), and I and My Heart (1957). She died in April 1997.
