Later on, he finished his graduate studies in women's studies at Istanbul University. Teoman launched his official music career with his first band, Mirage, in 1986. He performed with different bands for 10 years until he released his hit song "Ne Ekmek Ne de Su," which was awarded the first prize in Roxy Müzik Günleri. On August 4, 2011, Teoman announced on his official website that he had decided to retire from music indefinitely, but on November 24, 2012, he officially announced his return to music, collaborating in the same year with Sebnem Ferah. Teoman has released several albums, including "Eski Bir Rüya Uğruna..." (2015). As an actor, his credits include the film Mumya firarda (2002). Also, he directed the film Balance and Movement (2005).
