She is an Egyptian actress who was born in Damascus. She worked with Salama Hijazi Troupe in 1916, George Abyad Troupe in 1922, and the National Troupe 1944. She is famous for her role as the old woman who causes problems for others,most notably in Tamr Henna (1957).
