Kawthar Ramzy is an Egyptian actress who first started her artistic career on the radio, then worked in small roles in cinema, theater and television. Among her small roles in cinema is her role in the movie I Will Never Cry with Faten Hamama. She was given a role closer to starring in the movie The Call of Love, and yet she did not benefit from the experience. In television drama, she presented several works, including Raafat El Hagan, and Wanis' Daily Life.

She started off working in the radio then doing secondary roles in movies in the cinema and theater. She was given the chance of a life time when she was offered a semi stardom role in the movie “Nedaa Al Hob” where she played the role of the kind hearted mother. She also played the role of the martyr’s wife in the movie “Amalekat Al Behaar”. She became especially famous after the horrible death of singer “Thekra” in 2003 , where it was said that she can predict the future.
