An Egyptian actor, born in Esna, Qena Governorate. He began his career in the early 60s with the 1962 movie The Day of Judgment. He continued to play small roles, mostly the role of the guard and the doorman until the early 80s, where he focused on television series and films. He's known for Tears in Rude Eyes (1980), Muhammad Is the Messenger of God (1983) and The Family of Mr. Shalash (1985).
