Egyptian director born in 1943. He graduated from the High Cinema Institute in 1986. He worked as an AD to his cousin director Mohamed Rady in 3 films including Silence Sons, and The Barrier. He worked in theater production and produced several plays including King Lear, and The Merchant of Venice. He also produced two TV series, including The Misers. His directorial debut was the film Anger Days (1989).
