Egyptian film editor born on 16 October 1948. She graduated from the High Institute of Performance Arts in 1969. She worked as an assistant editor then as an editor. In the early 80s, she briefly worked as an assistant director but preferred editing. Some of her works include The Bathhouse of Malatily (1973), So That Smoke Won't Blow Away (1984) and The Day Demon (1997).
