A Syrian production designer, born in 1939 in Homs, Syria. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo, Department of Decorative Arts. In 1965, he studied art in Cairo and Damascus and won Arab and local honorary awards. In addition to painting, he worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering between 1971 and 1991. Some of his credits are Returning to Haifa, The Survivor, and The Valley of Musk.
