Souad Abdallah was born in Basra in 1944. She became famous in the mid-seventies of the last century. In addition to being a singer, she is an actress and participated in a number of series and films in the seventies and eighties. She is best known for her role in the movie Sleepless Eyes. She died after a struggle with cancer, on March 23, 2014 in Baghdad.
