Egyptian actress born in 1941, she graduated from the High Institute of Performing Arts. Afterwards, she went on to work at the Egyptian Radio. She also did plenty of theater work and some films in the late 1960s and early 1970s. However, she focused on television throughout her career ever since, many of which were religious series. She's known for Between the Two Palaces (1987), Justice in Islam (multiple seasons), and Umar Ibn Abd Al-Aziz (1994).
