An Egyptian theater actor. He worked in the troupe of George Abyad, Salama Hegazy and Mounira El Mahdeya. He was the first founder of the Syndicate of Actors. He was famous for the roles of villains. He also acted in many plays, including The Young Rebellion, and Aziza and Younis, in addition to many films, such as Cairo Station (1958), and Mr. Omar (1941).
