Syrian writer. In 1980, he was subjected to an assassination attempt, from which he survived after a long suffering. After his survival, he wrote something like a biography The Assassination. He wrote the movie Kafr Qassem, directed by Borhane Alaouié. He died on January 25, 2001 in the town of Arnoun, southern Lebanon.
