An Egyptian director and actor, born in Alexandria in 1960. He studied at the Faculty of Commerce for only one year before deciding to travel to Cairo to study at the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1980, to graduate in 1984. He began working as an assistant director in the movie The Maid but in 1990. He worked as an assistant director until 2004, after which he directed the movie Peace Bro in 2005.
