Egyptian actor, born on 24 April 1961. He joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art after obtaining a diploma from the Secretarial Institute. He was discovered by director Ahmed Fouad, who introduced him in many television and film works, but he gained fame through co-starring with Farid Shawqi in the series The Miser and I. His other notable series include Mountain Wolves, and I'm Patient, Mr. Saber. After a long absence from cinema, he returned with the movie The Night of the Carnival (2015). He passed away in 2016, at the age of 55.
