A Lebanese actor, born in the village of Dmit. He became acquainted with the theater during his studies at the upper school of Ras Beirut. He joined the Mahmassani Troupe with whom he performed the play Virginie, which was based on the novel Paul and Virginie by the French writer Bernardine de Saint-Pierre, and was presented on Independence Day on November 22, 1943. In 1951 he joined the Progressive Socialist Party. Three years after the founding of Lebanon TV, he played the role of the father in the series Under the Oak, among other notable roles on television. Despite his TV work, he remained loyal to the theater, as he performed in many plays, such as Juha in the Front Villages, and Comrade Sajaan. He also participated in several films, including The Sniper, and Ghost of the Past.
