A Syrian singer, who started her career in the late thirties and sang on the Syrian and Lebanese radios. In 1945, in celebration of the establishment of the Arab League, she sang her famous song A Message to the Qahtan Tribe. She appeared in the Egyptian movie My Heart Loves You (1955).
