An Egyptian director, born in 1946. He obtained a diploma in directing from the High Cinema Institute in 1967. Upon graduation, he worked as an assistant director with his father, the Egyptian director Ahmed Diaa Aldin, then he worked as a director on television, where he directed documentary and fiction films. He participated in films, including Meeting There (1976), and The Sailor (1995).
