Egyptian presenter and actress, born in Cairo on February 16, 1940. She studied history at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, to graduate in 1961. She joined Egyptian television as a presenter, and worked in variety and women's programs. She met with director Hussein Helmy El Mohandes, who introduced her to Egyptian cinema to participate in several films in supporting roles, all of which revolved around women's issues, including Miramar (1969), and The Minister's Daughter Groom (1970) with Shwikar .
