An Egyptian child actress, born in 1956 to an artistic family, including her siblings, Mervat and Refaat. She was famous for her wit and her ability to keep up with the big stars she worked with. She began her cinematic career in 1959 as Shadia's daughter in the movie The Unknown Woman directed by Mahmoud Zou El Faqqar, followed by a small role in the movie Between Heaven and Earth. Her other notable film roles include The Magic Lantern, Zizi's Family, Girls in Summer, and The Seven Daughters. Ikram retired from the field completely while she is still successful. She died quietly on June 13, 2001.
