An Egyptian writer and art critic, novelist, born on March 18, 1945 in Sharkia Governorate. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration ,Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Drama and Criticism from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, a Master’s degree in Drama and Criticism from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, and a Ph.D. in Drama and Criticism from the University of Vienna. He is the undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Head of the National Center for Theater and Music and folk art. One of his artworks is the play The Biography of the Prophet in 1978.
