An Egyptian actress, born on November 15, 1936. She was discovered by Abdel Halim Hafez, as she starred with him in the movie The Man of My Dreams in 1957. She is of Syrian origin, and obtained her secondary certificate in 1955 from the Sacred Heart School in Cairo, and was chosen as “Miss Egypt” the following year.
